  • Carbohydrates – 34.70 gram.

How we will be cooking this:

  • First of all we need to prepare all the ingredients for chocolate.
  • Cocoa butter is split into small pieces (the smaller, the faster it will melt) and then melted in a water bath. For example, I do it in a steamer.
  • While the oil is melting, sift carob through a strainer to avoid lumps. Lumps can be rubbed with a spoon.
  • When cocoa butter is completely melted, pour carob into it; but not all of it, leave about 1 tbsp for control. Mix until smooth. You can turn off the stove or steamer, and if the oil thickens – turn it on again.
  • Add dry milk and stir. If needed, you can add more carob. The final result for our chocolate should be like a thick cream.
  • Now use this ready homemade chocolate and pour into moulds for chocolate candies. Inside every candy you can put nuts or dried fruits. I personally love hiding nuts inside, and you can put it on top also. You can leave a couple of spoons of chocolate and add 1-2 tbsp. of sesame seeds. It can be crude or you lightly browned. Mix them and also pour in moulds.
  • Now put the chocolates in the fridge to get hard and train your willpower to not eat them before they are ready :D.
  • Try it out. Let me know in comments about your experience.
