Healthy Cauliflower dough vegetable pizza

 What you’ll be needing:

For Cauliflower dough –

  • Cauliflower – 1 piece (medium to big size)
  • Egg –  1 piece
  • Low fat sour cream – 1/4 cup
  • Low fat grated cheese – 1/4 cup
  • Garlic – 1 piece
  • Italian mix of dry greens – 1/4 tbsp.
  • Salt – a pinch

For pizza topping –

  • Asparagus beans
  • Black olives
  • Tomato
  • Low fat  cheese

For sauce –

  • Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Italian mix of dry greens – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Pepper – as per taste
  • Garlic – 1 piece
  • Sugar – pinch
  • Water – as per taste
  • Sweet paprika – 1 tsp.
  • Ginger powder – pinch

What is the nutritional value (per serving):

  • Calories – 105 kcal
  • Fats – 5.10 gram.
  • Carbohydrates – 3.40 gram
  • Proteins  – 12.3 gram.

 

How we will be cooking this:

  • The most important thing in this pizza is of course the cauliflower dough. Strictly follow the recipe to get desirable result.
  • First of all wash and divide cauliflower into florets and grind in the food processor until u get small rice-looking pieces. If you don’t have food processor use a grater.
  • Boil water in a big pot and put the crushed cauliflower for 5 minutes. Take a sieve and cover it with cheesecloth and strain the cauliflower through it. Now take cheesecloth with cauliflower and press out excess water as much as you can.
  • Take a deep bowl and mix the eggs with sour cream, cheese, garlic and dry greens. When everything is well mixed, add cauliflower and form the dough.
  • Take a wide baking tray and cover it with baking paper. Place dough and form circle looking pizza or few small pizzas. Bake it in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 C.
  • While cauliflower dough is baking; its time to prepare sauce and topping. Take a non stick frying pan and heat it up on a medium flame. Add tomato sauce, water, dry greens, red paprika, ginger powder, salt, pepper and sugar as per your taste and mix this well. Wait until it starts boiling and then turn off the flame.
  • Cut asparagus beans and olives in half. Cut tomatoes into thin slices.

  • When the dough is ready take it out of the oven and spread sauce all over it and then place the topping in any order you want, sprinkle with salt and in the end cover with cheese. Bake for few more minutes until cheese is melted.
