Vegan and Fresh Carrot Pie

What you’ll be needing:

  • Carrots – 2 pieces.
  • Prunes – 100 gram.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Cinnamon – as per taste.
  • Baking Powder – 10 grams.
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 cup.
  • Vegetable Oil – 3 tbsp.
  • Water – 2 tbsp.
  • Nuts – as per taste.
  • Oats – as per taste (optional).
  • Vegetable Oil  – 0.5 tsp.

  

What is the nutritional value (per serving):

  • Calories: 220 kcal
  • Proteins: 3.4 gram
  • Carbohydrates: 41.5 gram
  • Fats: 5 gram

  

 How we will be cooking this:

  • Wash and peal the carrots. Take a deep big bowl and then grate the pealed carrots.
  • Wash and cut prunes and nuts into smaller pieces and then add them to the previously cut carrots.
  • Add flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and then mix everything very well in the same bowl.
  • In the end, pour vegetable oil and water and then mix it once again. Take a baking tray, grease it with oil and pour the pie dough and powder it with oats on top.
  • Bake pie in pre-heated 180 degree oven (Make sure the oven already is in that temperature) for 35 minutes.
