How to cook Tabule salad

What you’ll be needing:

  • Bulgur – 60 grams
  • Tomatoes – 2 pieces,
  • Parsley – 2 large beam,
  • Fresh mint – 1 small bunch,
  • green onions (white heads) – 1-2 stalk,
  • Half lemon juice
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons,
  • Salt  – as per taste
  • Grounded pepper –  as per taste

  

What is the nutritional value (per serving):

  • Calories: 41.64 kcal
  • Proteins: 1.62 grams
  • Fats:  0.11 grams
  • Carbohydrates:  8.20 grams

 

How we will be cooking this:

  • Take a deep bowl and pour in our bulgur with 120 grams of hot water and leave for 1-1.5 hours. After the time, take a colder colander and put the bulgur in it, tilt it and this will drain excess fluid.
  • Now we have to peel tomatoes. To do this, we have to put tomatoes for 1 minute in boiling water. Then immediately shift them into the cold water. Now they can be easily pealed.
  • Take Parsley, mint and green onions. Wash, dry well and chop finely.
  • In a bowl; add up greens, add the tomatoes, and then season with lemon juice, salt, pepper, olive oil and mix.
  • Add steamed bulgur on top, add seasoning and then mix everything once again with a big spoon.
  • Put our salad in refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Enjoy your meal! Stay healthy and happy! 🙂
